Description
Harry Crosby was an idealist, someone capable of risking his life whitout hesitation for a complete stranger, capable even for risking his soul for the good of humanity. When he reached the age of majority, he had no doubts: his duty was to go to the battlefield… and safe lives. He volunteered for the United States Army Ambulance Service in 1917 and he went to Europe to pull the soldiers’ mangled bodies form the mud. He was a war hero, without taking any lives.
After the war, he wanted to return home. But nobody fully returns form a war like that. “After the war…” Is there really something like that? Is there an “after the war”? Doesn’t war fester in the hearts of men? For Harry Crosby, al least, the war never trully ended. When he thought the nightmare was over, War called him back… in the most horrible way anyone can imagine…
